WIN is proud to recognize Philip Denning, Executive Vice President of The Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority (The Port), as a 2026 Hall of Fame honoree.

Denning has built a career focused on strengthening communities through thoughtful economic and real estate development. At The Port, he leads the Real Estate team, overseeing housing construction across a spectrum of affordability, complex place-based development projects, and the Hamilton County Landbank’s efforts to transform vacant and blighted properties into productive community assets.

Before joining The Port, Denning led the City of Cincinnati’s Department of Community and Economic Development. During this time, he directed negotiations involving nearly $2 billion in private investment and helped incentivize the creation of thousands of new market-rate and affordable housing units.

His commitment to community development has earned recognition well beyond Cincinnati. In 2021, Denning was named a recipient of the Economic Development 40 Under 40 Award, honoring rising leaders in the economic development industry. He also serves as an active board member of the Ohio Land Bank Association.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP), Denning continues to call Cincinnati home. He lives in Northside with his wife and three children.

WIN is honored to celebrate Denning’s leadership and his ongoing commitment to creating stronger, more vibrant neighborhoods throughout Greater Cincinnati.
