The community prepared for the upcoming Walkability Workshop and Street Audit. The Gateway Clean-Up event was hosted by the South and Cumminsville Community Council and Working In Neighborhoods, with materials donated by Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and The Civic Garden Center. South Cumminsville residents were joined by volunteers from the the Mayors Young Professionals Kitchen Cabinet and WIN to landscape, clean-up, plant and mulch on June 15th.

On June 25th, Working In Neighborhoods will facilitate the Walk-ability Workshop & Walking Audit.  This workshop will also serve to strengthen community connections and identify economic development opportunities.  The goal of the Walkability Workshop is to engage the community in identifying next-steps to make the Beekman-Elmore Corridor more walkable, livable, healthy and welcoming. Strategies resulting from this workshop will help guide uture development activities to improve quality-of-life and increase economic opportunity in South Cumminsville (a GO Cincinnati neighborhood).
