Working in Neighborhoods’ festive “WIN’s Annual Welcome Home Spring Event” for previous clients, homebuyers, and those involved in WIN’s mission to increase homeownership in its neighborhoods, was held on the evening of April 29, at WIN.
After a warm welcome from Sister Barbara Busch and Ms. Myra Boggs, guests enjoyed renewing acquaintances, learning how WIN has continued its efforts, and sharing a delicious dinner. An excellent talk on Home Maintenance by Mr. Jim Knolle., owner of JEK Construction Co. preceded games and the awarding of door prizes.
As guests mingled, bits of conversation spoke to appreciation of WIN’s efforts.
“I love my new home!” “WIN is the greatest! “ “ WIN helped us every step of the way!” “Twenty years of owning a WIN home made it possible for me to eventually rent it and buy another home for myself.” “We love working with WIN and helping people.” (from a representative of Huntington Bank).
Several homeowners brought other prospective homebuyers as their guests to learn about the home buying process. Referring friends to work with WIN to purchase their home is testimony for which WIN is most grateful.
