Working In Neighborhoods (WIN) joined the 2025 Own Cincy Homeownership Fair on November 22 at the Cintas Center. The day-long event connected families with local lenders, real estate professionals, housing advocates, and workshops designed to guide them on the path to homeownership.
WIN’s Operations Director and Housing Program Manager, Hope E. Wilson, co-led the Unlocking Homeownership sessions with Portia Davis of First Financial Bank and realtor Cliff Norton of 3CRE. Together, they addressed common misconceptions about credit, grants, mortgages, and the homebuying process—giving attendees clear, actionable steps. “It’s a great opportunity to provide accurate information and help families take the next step,” Wilson said.
Throughout the fair, WIN housing counselor Tammy Edwards answered questions about homebuyer education classes and one-on-one counseling.
By bringing together partners and resources, Own Cincy advanced its mission to create informed, empowered homeowners—directly reflecting WIN’s commitment to helping residents strengthen their neighborhoods through homeownership, economic learning, and community building.
