A sunny spring day set the perfect backdrop for Working In Neighborhoods’ annual Easter Hop Up on Saturday, March 28—and what a celebration is was! Families from across the neighborhood filled WIN’s outdoor campus, bringing energy, laughter, and a true sense of togetherness.
Chidlren enjoyed a wide range of activities, from games and crafts to sweet treats and age-appropriate Easter egg hunts. Smiles were everywhere as kids posed with giant inflatable Easter bunnies. More than 70 children participated in this beloved South Cumminsville tradition, making it a day to remember for all who attended.
This special event wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of incredible volunteers likes WIN Board Member Deborah Sims, who has supported the Hop Up for years. As Sims shared, “I think it’s needed in the neighborhood. People need to know that they’re loved. And that not just the parents love them—the people in the neighborhood love them.”
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the day so meaningful. Together we continue to build a stronger, more connected community—one joyful moment at a time.
