A demolition project on campus that was on WIN’s wish list for over a decade is now complete thanks to a generous Sharonville company.

In February, the John R. Jurgensen Company generously donated the labor and equipment to level a century-old structure on WIN’s campus. Built in 1910, for former church served as the meeting place while St. Pius Church was built. In more recent years, the facility housed Head Start and then served as overflow space for WIN activities. Hope E. Wilson, WIN’s Operations Director/Housing Program Manager, said, “We are ecstatic to have the building down and appreciate John R. Jurgensen Company’s generosity. It allows us to take an out-of-date, out-of-use building and turn it into green space for the campus.”

After demolishing the old building, all that remains is a dirt lot where grass will be laid in the spring.
