Children and families had a blast at WIN’s annual Boo Bash on Saturday, October 25, enjoying a festive day of games, crafts, music, and treats. Kids turned up dressed as Batman, Snow White, Minnie Mouse, and even Mario & Luigi.
Sponsored by Union Savings Bank/Guardian Savings Bank and Integra Group, the Boo Bash brought the neighborhood together, with volunteers helping to make the day run smoothly. Kids danced to Bobby Pickett’s classic “Monster Mash,” while others posed for Polaroid photos in front of spooky backdrops featuring Chucky, Freddy, and a haunted house—proving some traditions never go out of style, even in the age of smartphones.
Activities kept everyone entertained, from balloon turtles to Spiderweb Toss, Jack-o’-Lantern Plinko, and making a Halloween ornament. Young readers also received free books courtesy of the Cincinnati/Hamilton County Public Library.
“Our volunteers and sponsors brought the magic to life today—creating a safe and joyful Boo Bash where children could celebrate, play, and just be kids,” said Executive Director S. Barbara Busch.
