Financial empowerment met every day needs as community members gathered for WIN’s Monthly Produce Pop-Up alongside Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment Bus (E-Bus), bringing food access, financial guidance, and estate planning together in one convenient stop.
On Friday, April 10, 2026, the E-Bus visited WIN’s campus for the afternoon, bringing additional resources to residents of the Beekman Corridor and offering tools to support financial stability and long-term planning.
During the event, residents accessed social services and benefits screenings, learned about economic relief programs, and received personalized financial coaching. The program also provided estate planning and will preparation, helping participants take important steps toward future security.
The mobile E-Bus served as a welcoming resource center where visitors could ask questions, explore options, and connect with trained professionals. Paired with WIN’s monthly produce distribution, the event reinforced a holistic approach to community wellbeing—meeting both nutritional and financial needs in one place. Each month, an average of 127 families access food through the Pop-Up, where neighborhood residents, Crane volunteers, and WIN staff distribute items provided by the FreeStore Foodbank.
WIN thanks Fifth Third Bank for helping expand access to essential financial tools and resources that support stronger, more secure futures across the Beekman Corridor.
