Logo of Greater Cincinnati FoundationFor the last several years, the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) has posed a transformative question to local nonprofits: How big of an impact can $10,000 make? The answers form “A Special Gift,” a curated booklet connecting donors with essential community needs.

Working In Neighborhoods (WIN) is thrilled to be a part of the 2025 A Special Gift program. Through the generosity of new donors and a $2,500 GCF match, WIN raised $16,150 for a critical Technology for Engagement Upgrade.

This funding will modernize audiovisual equipment in WIN’s primary meeting spaces, dissolving barriers between in-person and virtual participants. By enhancing these hubs, WIN ensures that everyone—regardless of their ability to be on campus—can collaborate and contribute.

“This program offered more than funding; it provided visibility and new relationships,” says S. Barbara Busch, Executive Director of WIN. “GCF and its donors have accelerated a critical upgrade, allowing us to connect with our community in more meaningful, accessible ways.”

Through this collective effort, WIN is now better equipped to foster an inclusive environment where every voice is heard.
