A collage of five pictures of WIN's Youth Program. Two are from WIN's 2024 Summer Camp and three are from the 2024 Santa's Workshop. On December 14, 2024, Working In Neighborhoods’ (WIN) community room was transformed into Santa’s Workshop, and 450 children and teens were treated to a joyful holiday tradition. The event included gift bags for toddlers, a toy giveaway for kids ages 5-12, and gift cards for teens.

Children had the chance to take pictures with Santa, play games, and create their own festive crafts at the annual holiday party. They were then able to choose three special gifts to take home. This unforgettable celebration was made possible by the incredible support of our donors and volunteers.

During WIN’s Giving Tuesday campaign for the Youth Program, 44 generous donors stocked Santa’s Workshop with 352 toys and games, and funded summer camp scholarships for nine children. WIN Brings the World to Our Backyard features eight weeks of fun-filled activities, including exciting field trips, entertaining guests, and educational opportunities to reduce summer learning loss.

We are deeply grateful to the many volunteers and donors who showed how much they cared. A heartfelt thank you goes to FEG Investment Advisors, Kathy Lutz and Rose Longworth of Integra Group, LaSalle High School Volunteers, Marine Corps Reserves Toys For Tots, Mr. Gene’s Dog House, Kevin and Peg Mosher, South Cumminsville Community Council, and St. James the Greater Church. Your contributions truly made a difference in the lives of these children.
